‘I’ve lost 27lbs’

Four months after having my baby, the realisation hit me that most of the 3 stone I gained during my pregnancy was mainly due to overeating and not baby weight! I felt unattractive and longed to fit back into my pre-pregnancy clothes, something had to be done!  I had tried to go it alone those first few months but found it so hard motivating myself to exercise and also be a full time Mom, so I called in John from Bodybank PT to give me some much needed help and inspiration!

On our first meeting we sat down together and discussed a healthy eating program, he even went through my cupboards and told me what to bin!  I haven't found the diet hard to stick to, it's more of a lifestyle change and I am pretty lenient at the weekends!

Training sessions with John are always fun and varied, he always manages to push me that little bit further, but I really see the results afterwards.  Who'd of thought I'd actually enjoy squats?! 

10 months on and I'm thrilled to say I've lost 27lbs!  I feel great and have so much more energy!  I really couldn't have done it without John, knowing we have our training sessions booked every week gives me the motivation to keep going. I’ve even booked my place for the 2010 London Marathon.

‘Sports Massage is fantastic’

The sports massage therapy from Tom has been fantastic for me. I spend a lot of time on the computer at work and by the end of the week my neck and shoulders can really feel it. ‘Brilliant team’

I’ve been training with John for a while now and have really changed the way I look, feel and organise my meals around work. I really let off some steam with the boxing and love the variety in our sessions.

I’ve gained a great understanding of how different foods affect my body and my mood plus I’m still having the treats but I’ve learnt the best times to have them.

‘My injuries have gone’

In the past I have been constantly plagued with injuries with have kept me from working out as I would have liked from back, ankle groin and hip and others. I over trained to stay fit and damaged my body in the meantime
